SAN FRANCISCO - AN INTERTWINED CITY WELL CONNECTED
The first time I walked around San Francisco, I was mesmerized by the cables connecting the city's public transportation system. One gloomy and cold morning I decided to go for a walk around the Golden Gate Park. Right before I was about to get on a bus, I looked up and saw a single cable stretching across the sky (first image). I was instantly reminded of Piet Mondrian's minimalist approach to his paintings. I spent the next month wandering around the city looking for all sorts of shapes and designs. It's a chaotic thing of beauty.
